Ziggy and Amy come from pub, retail and hospitality sectors, and are passionate about serving people a proper pint. They are gamers and love live music - especially a bit of rock!

Ziggy is all about Ale and Amy is Gin through and through.


Karen

With over 15 years of experience leasing village pubs, is a proper publican, and loves to give customers an excellent experience. Sports are her thing - especially cricket!

Karen likes her premium lagers and a cheeky Strawberry Woo Woo!

The Cyder Presse

Founded as a pub in 1971The Cyder Presse has been a staple in the community for over 50 years. Our pub celebrates local cider and is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. We are proud to continue this tradition and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all.

Weare Giffard

Weare Giffard is a charming small village in north Devon, set on the hillside above the beautiful River Torridge valley, just two and a half miles from Great Torrington. With a population of around 345, the village is steeped in history, dating back to the medieval Giffard family who gave it its name. The village is home to the magnificent Grade I listed Holy Trinity Church and Weare Giffard Hall, making it a special place where history, countryside and community come together.

The Tarka Trail

Inspired by Tarka the Otter, the Tarka Trail is an 180-mile figure-of-eight route showcasing the very best of North Devon, from peaceful countryside and wooded valleys to stunning coastlines and beaches. With the traffic-free cycle route just a 10-minute ride from the pub, we’re the perfect place to stop for a delicious bite to eat and a refreshing drink along the way.
